
Chris Roberts, Director.
Chris officially left the Thomas Adams School in Wem, Shropshire at 16, after having achieved 8 CSE's. Chris's first job, which lasted two years and which taught him the rudiments of metal fabrication, was with a wrought iron blacksmithing business in Wem, which he has subsequently bought out. He then spent 14 years with a Shropshire engineering company, moving through the ranks from trainee into a management role. With this experience behind him Chris started CRF (UK) LTD in 1992.

Tim Boxall - Machine Shop and Sheet Metal Shop Manager.
Tim left Thomas Adams School at the age of 16 and worked for a local blacksmiths for six months. He then took a job at a Shropshire steel fabrication company where he spent 12 years learning varied aspects of the industry. In 1992 he left this company to start at CRF. As the company grew he moved into a management role having completed his NEBS Certificate in Management.

Paul Gilbert - CAD and Production Engineer/Planner.
Paul attended Whitchurch Secondary Modern School and, having passed GCSEs, he went on to take Maths and Physics A levels at Shrewsbury College. He started work at Rubery Owen Prees Limited in 1977 in the production control department, working his way up to becoming Production Controller at their Warrington factory. He left due to closure of the factory and went to work as Works Manager at an engineering company in Deeside. When Paul and his wife decided to start a family he moved to a company nearer home as Works Manager, where he stayed until joining CRF in 2000. During the years Paul has worked in engineering he has taken several qualifications relating to his position, including NEBS in Supervisory Management and NVQ Level 3 in Cad and Engineering procedure.

Sandra Sneath - Office Manager.
Sandra joined CRF in 1996 as Office Manager. Her main responsibilities are the financial and personnel aspects of the company. Prior to joining CRF she had a mainly secretarial background with several years as PA to the Managing Director of a construction company and 15 years as a Senior Secretary with the Milk Marketing Board.

Rachael Rawlings - Commercial Assistant.
After leaving Thomas Adams School, Rachael went on to complete a two year Private Secretarial Diploma course at Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology. She started at CRF in July 2000 as a Secretary/Receptionist. Rachael was then given the opportunity to do an NVQ level 2 in Administration and, having completed this successfully, she was given new responsibilities on the financial side of the company. Returning to work in February 2009 after maternity leave, she was then given a new role in the Sales and Purchasing Department.

Helen Roberts - Secretary/Receptionist.
Having spent several years as a landlady, Helen decided she needed a new challenge and looked for a 9-5, Mon-Fri position. Making use of previous office experience, she enjoys an administration role at CRF and being the first point of contact for customers and suppliers.
