Project Planning Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Planning Engineer to join our team.

The role of Project Planning Engineer will largely entail preparing detailed production packs to facilitate the manufacture of a wide variety of bespoke steel products to a customer specification.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have an engineering and fabrication background, and be able to demonstrate a broad range of knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Have experience utilising CAD software, primarily AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Have good communication skills when liaising with both colleagues and customers.
  • Have excellent computer skills. The role will require the inputting of all production information into manufacturing software, and the candidate will be required to operate CAM software.
  • Perform work in accordance with the companies health and safety procedures.
  • Be highly motivated, and offer a keen eye for detail and value precision.

This is a full time position, with working hours from 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:30 on a Friday.

The successful candidate would take responsibility for managing their workload, and working overtime would be expected as and when it is deemed necessary.

Annual salary would be dependant on skill level and experience.

 

 


 

Sheet Metal Worker

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team.

The successful candidate must:

  • Be able to read, interpret and work to engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Have experience operating press brakes, sheet rollers, sections rollers, manual punches and drills.
  • Experience tube forming would be an advantage.
  • Be comfortable working on one off pieces and other small batch work.
  • Be able to use measuring equipment.
  • Perform work in accordance with the companies health and safety procedures.
  • Be highly motivated.
  • Work effectively, ensuring the workplace is kept in clean and orderly manner.

This is a full time position, with working hours from 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:30 on a Friday.

Overtime is available, and would be expected when required.

Hourly rate would be dependant on skill level and experience.

 


 

Profile Operator

An opportunity has arisen for a Profile Operator to join our team.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have experience with both plasma and gas cutting, experience with Messer cutting systems preferable but not essential.
  • Be comfortable operating a 5 tonne gantry crane, licence preferable, but training would be offered.
  • Have an engineering background.
  • Be able to use measuring equipment.
  • Perform work in accordance with the companies health and safety procedures.
  • Be highly motivated.
  • Work effectively, ensuring the workplace is kept in clean and orderly manner.

This is a full time position, with working hours from 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:30 on a Friday.

General Labourer

An opportunity has arisen for a General Labourer to join our team.

The role will involve general labouring work in an engineering enviroment, to include dressing of components, and offering a supporting role to a number of operations as required, to include, paint spraying, profile cutting, and the goods out department.

The successful candidate must:

  • Be able to use measuring equipment.
  • Perform work in accordance with the companies health and safety procedures.
  • Be highly motivated.
  • Work effectively, ensuring the workplace is kept in clean and orderly manner.
